Energy Efficiency Upgrades for Agriculture Businesses

The AgEE Program could help your facility save on energy usage by upgrading to energy-efficient natural gas equipment.

How to Participate

  1. Work with an AgEE account manager in your area to determine the right equipment upgrades for your facilities.
  2. Install your new equipment with the contractor of your choice.
  3. Submit your program application and complete verification requirements.
  4. Receive your incentive and enjoy the benefits of your new equipment.

Customer Eligibility

Qualifying businesses must be listed under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 11 and have an active service account with SoCalGas. In addition, businesses must not have received an incentive from SoCalGas for the same equipment within the past five (5) years, and all projects and equipment must meet the Program’s basic requirements.

Equipment Eligibility

  • All equipment must be new natural gas equipment. Fuel switching does not qualify.
  • Qualifying equipment must be purchased and installed between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2025. In addition, the equipment must be installed within 12 months of its purchase date, unless indicated otherwise.
  • All required efficiencies must exceed Title 20 and 24 standards*.
  • Equipment must meet the Program’s technical specifications. Your account manager will provide guidance on measure-specific information.
